Baby Showers Galore!

UPDATE:
Little did I know that when I posted this, little Jack Benjamin had already arrived early Monday morning. So excited to meet him!!! :)
**********************************************************************
I've decided to dub 2009 "The Year of the Babies". Here's why: We have not 1, not 2, not 3, but SEVEN (7!) friends having babies...in the Spring alone! Between now and June, seven new babies will be around. Kind of crazy! My friend Aimee kicks off the bunch, since she and her husband are expecting their little boy to come any day now, and Amanda, my friend since childhood, and her husband are expecting at the end of June. Fun!!!

This past Saturday was the first shower of the year, celebrating the February arrival of my friend Julie's baby. Doesn't this Mary Kay-selling lady look terrific? :o)

I can only hope that my blog serves as a guide for them of what's to come. ;o) Everyone is sure to have their own adventures!

Adam and I are one of 7 pregnant couples in our circle of friends.
7 seems like the number to beat! When I went for my first appointment the nurse said that the office was booming with newly pregnant patients...guess the bad economy isn't stopping baby making!! :)

Babies. Love them, love them. Love their smell, their touch, their need for you. It's just awesome!

Hmmm....I don't think I'll get any showers for this pregnancy since It is my fourth...maybe a pamper me shower???

I agree with everyone else...there seems to be something in the water, because I went to the hospital here for a checkup and I could not believe the sheer number of pregnant women everywhere! Hopefully that means alot of happy people! : )

SEVEN babies in '09! Oh my!

Your friend really does look fantastic. She seems "small" for being eight months pregnant.
