Sorry for my absence from blogging lately. I'm having major writer's block, major time constraints, major work to get done...hence the lack of posts. But I will try to get better soon, I promise!
In the meantime, here's another parody for you to enjoy. I came across this one on a Facebook friend's wall and just about wet myself with laughter. It has a certain "this is your life right now" feeling to it. ;o)

This was cool! It actually made me cry (what doesn't make me cry - hehe). It is so important for husbands and wives to have time with each other and not just be parents. But it is hard to make that time with little resources or people around to help sometimes. Date nite really makes a difference. lol. We find innovative ways to make date nite around here. hehe, haha, hoho
i have to admit, i actually cried too. so true. there is something so EXTRAORDINARY about all those ordinary moments of life/marriage.
i just had a date night last evening & it is so refreshing to sit with clark minus all the worries, stress & noise of little ones at your feet.
OMG, I'm totally with Ruth. It's funny, but it made me cry!
Thanks for posting it though, I loved it. :)
Okay, I felt like an idiot until I read the other comments. That video made me cry too! Not blubbering, but teary, nonetheless. We do try to be creative and squeeze date nights in. It helps me remember, "Oh, yeah, I love this guy and he IS funny!" Here's a funny one...once after the girls went to bed we sat on a blanket in the backyard by candlelight and iPod music and ate Chinese takeout. Then we laid on our backs a looked at the stars for about 5 minutes - that's when the skunk decided to make it's nightly rounds. Let's just say we didn't want to get in his way!
