Breaking the Habit

Here's an odd (possibly short-lived) habit that I think I need a bit of help with.

For the past few nights, when Hubby and I check on our little Peanut after bedtime, we find her fast asleep...not in her big girl bed, but underneath her big girl bed.

We don't hear her crying for us after we put her to bed. Just a bit of movement that we thought was her getting comfy...but no. It was her getting out of bed and finding an apparently better spot underneath her warm, soft princess bed with matching pillow and comforter!

This has happened for the past 5 nights in a row. I don't want her slamming her head on the under-part of the bed, but I do want her to sleeeeeep! (And most of you know that she's not the best sleeper on the planet.)

Any thoughts or suggestions? :o)

i agree, sleep is a good thing. no matter where, no matter what position, be it under a bed. maybe you could put a foam pad or something soft on the underside of the bed, so she won't bump her head if she does sit up quickly. a thought.

see you tomorrow. also, great seeing you saturday.

Wow, what a classic picture! Johnny used to do that - except he would come to my room and hide under MY bed! I had to keep carrying him back to his room...he stopped eventually, though. Danae may even stop on her own. It DOES look comfy down there, LOL....

He he, this just makes me giggle. As a mommy of another not great sleeper I say let sleeping babies lie! Thanks for checking in on us too. It was a fast birth and I do think I like it better that way. BTW, our new girl is already sleeping better than the first, I'm hoping it's going to last and last and last!

Yes, I agree too! Let sleeping kids sleep! NO MATTER where!
