Calling All Baby Namers!

With only 3 weeks to go until my due date, we are still undecided about a name for this little guy. It seems like we could come up with girl names left and right (if needed), but boy names are TOUGH!

Sooo...here we are, seeking out YOUR suggestions! If you have a great name idea for a boy, please leave a comment for us. We are looking for a name that is somewhat unique (sorry, not John or Bob), but not one that requires repeated pronouncing and spelling for others (such as Abednego). Also, we really like many names of people in our families, but we aren't looking to do a repeat. So, if you know any of our crazy relatives :o), just leave those names out.

We appreciate any input you may have! Oh, and since this guy is growing rapidly and could potentially come early, please hurry and help us out! :o)

i'll be saving my favorite names for myself, if ever needed. but here are a few i won't be using for one reason or another, but still love the names:
grant
liam
luke
cole

there's a few to get you thinking. you've probably already discussed these names and have ruled them out for different reasons. but then again, maybe not. perhaps i've just named the newest ulrich baby.

take care. miss you.

Hey girl...I can't believe that I haven't seen you ONCE since you've been pregnant. :( It's been too long! I miss you lots!

While I was in NJ this weekend my mom and I were talking about you and how your due date is almost here. We were wondering what names you may be thinking of. :)

I LOVE Blake and Braeden (I prefer this spelling to Braden)--but watch out, b/c if I have a boy one day I may use one even if you do. :) ha ha...

Love you! :)

Ok, so I looked through Madison's yearbook just now, and let me just say...no new ideas!! Surprisingly, Cole and Matthew are used quite a bit in the K-5 arena these days; even Bryce and Braden are becoming popular.

SO, with that said, and you know me....I like different names....here goes in ABC order:

Bradley
*Gavin
*Jack (you CAN reuse, no worries!!!)
*Judah (call him Jude?)
*Max (Maxwell, Maxx, etc.etc.)
*Zayne (that will probably make Curt laugh)

Personally, I think you really have to think about the child when they are in school AND an adult. No offense, but a name like Billy sounds SO SILLY when you get to be an adult!

You know we spend much time around children of all ages Beth, and it is definitely harder to find a boy name than a girl name!!! But I have great faith that your choice will be WONDERFUL.

I love you....I'll have the girls post later on.

Well... I love boy names!! I think girl names are harder!! But I don't have a list to contribute because I never really made one! There are a lot I like already listed by Kara and Aimee....

Chris would suggest Bo!

Ah boy names are so hard. We have a thousand girl names, which does neither of us any good. So here are a few that I liked, but didn't us.

Owen
Ethan
Brayden
Quinton
Trent(on)

Okay thats all I got. Take it or leave it. Good luck. We didn't name Sidney until he was born so we could see his face. But then we saw his face and still didn't know. It was kind of stressful. But I'm glad we picked Sidney.

Unfortunately I have no suggestion to contribute because I just racked my brain to come up with “Daniel”! But I did want to concur that boy names are about one zillion times harder to come up with than girl names, so I wish you luck!

Thanks so much for the well wishes and thought and prayers! It's always appreciated! We'd like to do the same, so we'll be thinking of you guys as the big day approaches!

Herkimer is a family favorite...Holger is a Johnson
family name....I honestly have no serious suggestions. One thought provoker.....What kind of man do you want him to be? Is there any impression from God as to what His heart for this child is?

Hi Beth,

Just adding my name suggestions to give you something else to think about. Joshua, Johnathan & Tristian. God Bless. I can not wait to see this little guy's picture on your blog site. One thing is for certain, Nanna is very excited!!!
